It’s nearly 4 PM and I’m still sipping on my morning coffee. I offer three reasons for that.
1. My insulated cup keeps my coffee hot for hours. (More than four even.)
2. I sip on my coffee. (I don’t race to get it down. It tastes too good to gulp it down.)
3. I got a late start. (Yes, it was before noon.)
This probably never happens to you. Or does it?
You have a very long morning.
And good morning to you.
Thanks, Rainfield. It was a long morning, but then it must always be morning somewhere on Earth. Best of days to you.
I can’t drink coffee after the morning hours—I just get too amped up by the caffeine. Then I can’t sleep.
I have, however, gulped down my morning coffee with my lunch, being too busy at work to get a sip.
Like medicine, we all react caffeine differently. During cold weather, I’ll have a second helping in the afternoon. (It helps.)
I take forever to drink a cup of coffee too. I read somewhere that if you drink it slowly the caffeine lasts longer in your system. Don’t know about that.
Hey I like that idea that caffeine lasts longer in my system. With cooler weather approaching, I’ll soon double down and brew a second batch each day. One of the things that makes winter survivable for me.
No, it does not happen to me. I will have had six or eight cups by 4:03. However do you take in enough caffeine to function properly?
My “cup” is 18 oz. I normally don’t take that long, but today there were multiple, layered distractions. This may also explain my frequent inability “to function properly.” :dunce:
I drained the cup at 4:03 PM. Next up, ice water.
